Following the decision of preserving the distinctive feature of the existing building it has been chosen to place the new expansion just aside it and providing the complex with an horizontal trend and a limited number of floors in order to minimize its presence.
The idea leading the project is to realize a small fragment of a traditional Saudi town with its complexity, as an urban fabricmade of small volumes framed into each other, in-between passageways and courtyard.
